As my final year at Stanford comes closer to its end after COVID, I finally got to enjoy a real spring break! A college friend and I flew to Honolulu and spent the week traveling around the island of Oahu. She enjoyed surfing, and I enjoyed pretending that I could! :)
There's no place I'd rather be than near a beach, and I have never seen more blue water than the shores on Oahu! If you follow our instagram, you know that I have a ~slight~ obsession with painting ocean water! The mountains are also just so captivating. I spent a lot of time over the last week taking source photos for a future painting or two!
It was so nice to get away from school and work and get a chance to paint without any pressure! I hope to be able to show some of them off in the near future! I just know something will come of this Hibiscus flower!
